Hi, I’m Dorthi and I absolutely love what I do! Hair is not just my work, it is my passion! My passion was evident in 6th grade when I won a career essay contest about being a hairstylist. My writing won me the opportunity to get a “Job for a Day” at a hair salon. I still have the business card that they made for me.

Ever since that day, I have been determined to bring my creativity in realization. I have been in the industry for over 16 years now and have mastered everything from the understated to the avant garde. I worked for an upscale salon downtown Chicago, but have brought my work closer to home to be able to spend more time with my family. Over, the years I have developed my own unique vision and mainly specialize in Wedding and Editorial hair styling. I love updating my knowledge, techniques and products so that my clients get the best of the best!
